Personal Projects

Each member of the ISPS chapter of the National Honor Society must complete an individual project during their time of membership. This project must be service oriented and may or may not be linked to another NHS member’s projection. The NHS individual project is designed to stimulate the personal and social growth of the individual while, at the same time, providing a service to the community at large.

Prior to the onset of the project, the student must submit a project proposal to the NHS officers and advisors for approval. This proposal is a formal announcement of the purpose and intent of the project, as well as a brief summary of the organization and duration of the project. Once approval has been given, the student may commence carrying out their project. Upon the project’s completion, the student must present the project in both written and oral form to the rest of the NHS organization.
